Please join us on May 22 for the third annual "Amanda Dombrowski 5K Walk/Run for Educating Children." Last year was a great time and we look forward to improving on our success with your help. In 2007, an outstanding young woman and inspirational member of our community was taken from us. Amanda Dombrowski, a graduate of Lake Park High School and St. Walter's School, passed away at the age of 24. Through her huge network of family and friends, she had always exhibited a passion for nurturing children, which carried over into her life as a teacher, mentor, and caregiver for children at the Kensington School. To honor the life that was lost and to carry on her passion for nurturing children, the Amanda Jane Foundation is proudly sponsoring the "Amanda Dombrowski 5K Walk/Run for Educating Children." All proceeds collected will go to encourage children through academic/athletic recognition programs and by providing assistance to the present and future educators of our community.
